Our Mission
Making Peptide Research Accessible to Everyone
The peptide research space is full of noise. Vendor-driven content, unsubstantiated claims, and recycled misinformation make it difficult for researchers to find reliable information.
We built Starting My Research to fix that. Every article we publish starts with primary literature from PubMed, every claim is tied to a specific study, and every compound profile is reviewed for accuracy against the latest available data.
Our goal is to be the most trusted independent resource for peptide education. Not the biggest. Not the flashiest.
What Guides Us
Our Core Principles
Evidence Over Opinion
Every article is grounded in peer-reviewed research. We cite primary sources, not blog posts or vendor pages. If the data doesn’t support a claim, we don’t make it.
Radical Transparency
We disclose affiliate relationships, explain our editorial process, and clearly label content categories. You always know what you’re reading and why.
Always Current
Peptide science moves fast. We update existing articles when new research emerges and flag outdated information. Content that sits stale serves nobody.
Community Driven
Every article is grounded in peer-reviewed research. We cite primary sources, not blog posts or vendor pages. If the data doesn’t support a claim, we don’t make it.
Free and Accessible
Core content is free. Always. No paywalls on research articles, no subscriptions required for compound profiles, no “premium” gates on safety information.
Accuracy Over Speed
We publish when the content is right, not when it’s fast. Every article goes through a multi-step review process that prioritizes precision over publication cadence.
Content Areas
What We Cover
Compound Profiles
Detailed monographs on 46+ peptides and compounds covering mechanisms of action, preclinical evidence, research protocols, and safety considerations.
Reconstitution Guides
Step-by-step protocols for reconstituting lyophilized peptides with bacteriostatic water, including calculator tools and dosing math.
Research Study Breakdowns
Accessible summaries of key published studies from PubMed, broken down into plain language with context and limitations clearly noted.
Dosing Protocols
Evidence-based dosing frameworks drawn from published literature, including timing, cycling, and stacking considerations for researchers.
COA Reading & Quality
How to interpret Certificates of Analysis, HPLC purity results, mass spec data, and endotoxin testing to evaluate research-grade suppliers.
Safety & Storage
Practical guidance on peptide storage conditions, handling practices, shelf life data, and safe research practices for laboratory environments.
Editorial Process
How We Maintain Quality
Every piece of content follows a rigorous workflow from initial research through final publication.
Accuracy isn’t a suggestion around here.
Primary Source Research
All articles begin with published studies from PubMed, clinical trial registries, and peer-reviewed journals.
Claim Verification
Every factual claim is mapped to a specific citation. Unsupported claims are removed or clearly marked as emerging.
Technical Review
Content is reviewed for biochemistry accuracy, correct nomenclature, and proper interpretation of study data.
Readability Pass
Dense science is rewritten for clarity without losing precision. Jargon is defined, and complex mechanisms are illustrated.
Ongoing Updates
Published articles are flagged for review when relevant new studies are published. Content stays current.
Transparent Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it publicly. Correction notes are added to updated articles with timestamps.
